Personal information is collected from you when you contact ShopRite by phone or through the website.

With certain purchase requests, whether by telephone or electronically via our website, we will ask you for credit card information. This information is not stored and is destroyed once the sale has been concluded.

- open and administer your ShopRite account, and keep you informed of special offers, changes at ShopRite and other opportunities available to you as a ShopRite member;

5. Overseas Disclosure
ShopRite does not disclose personal information to overseas recipients.
6. How We Use Your Email Address
We use your email address to send you regular newsletters as well as invitations to VIP Nights and other special offers. Should you not wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in the email itself.
In addition, we will use your email address to:
- send a welcome message when you first join ShopRite;
- send an explanation message when you request a price but have not yet proceeded with the sale; and
- send a thank you message when you have made a sale.
7. How We Use Your Mobile Number (SMS)
We use your mobile number to contact you by SMS (text message), including: one-time verification codes and security messages used to confirm your identity or mobile number; account and service messages relating to your membership, quotes and orders; and messages about member benefits, offers and promotions. Our SMS messages are sent using the sender identification "ShopRite".
You may opt out of promotional and non-essential SMS at any time by following the opt-out instructions provided in the relevant message, or by contacting us via our Contact Us page. Even after you opt out of promotional messages, we may continue to send you essential service, security and verification messages that are necessary to provide our services or to protect your account. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates may apply.
8. Information Collected When You Browse Our Website
The only information recorded by us will be the date and time of your visit to the site, the pages viewed, the operating system in use, your geo-location and any information downloaded. We won't record information that allows us to identify you, unless you provide your personal information via a web form.
ShopRite uses this information for analytical purposes.
