The Association is the oldest and largest Burmese community organisation in Western Australia. It was formed in 1965 and incorporated in 1969 to assist new migrants and refugees that had arrived from Burma.
The Association is involved in a range of social services, including migrant and refugee settlement assistance, refugee employment, English classes, Burmese language radio, welfare, Seniors, cooking classes, youth assistance and charitable activities.
