The TH-L32DT30A offers a viewing experience which has never been so lifelike and compelling. Its response speed has doubled with the IPS Alpha panel (compared to conventional panels), ensuring a more uniform and rapid response. The drive speed has also been increased thanks to its newly developed and original high speed drive system, which can achieve the highest level of 3D LCD image quality, as well as minimal crosstalk. This ensures clear 3D images and comfortable viewing is delivered.

Known for its wide viewing angle and excellent light transmittance, the IPS Alpha panel has been enhanced with a bright, energy saving LED backlight. A uniformly high speed response ensures crisp moving images with minimal afterglow; and, when viewed from an angle, the images do not fade. The IPS Alpha LED LCD offers superb contrast and also contributes to the TH-L32DT30A's slim design.

By precisely controlling the backlight, the Panasonic DT30A achieves sharp, clear motion images. Previous frames shut out any interference to frames other than the ones being rendered, which effectively reduces afterimages. Sports or action films, and other fast moving scenes can pe produced in intricate detail.

LEDs achieve high brightness with low power consumption. Our next-generation, high-efficiency LCD was created by using an LED for the backlight and combining it with the IPS Alpha panel, which features high light transmission efficiency. The panel drive system employs a local dimming method that controls specific parts of the backlight. By maximising inherent device advantages, we have achieved highly robust black reproduction while using less power.

VIERA Connect allows users to enjoy video and music, sports, games, and a variety of other content in addition to the standard movies and TV programmes on a high-quality large-screen TV through the simple operation of a remote control. The cloud-based Internet service also supports interactive services using applicable equipment as well as an Internet-based shopping function that allows such equipment to be purchased straight from the TV.
