Experience true ‘Living Colour’ with  the Advanced 3MOS Sensor
A 3MOS Sensor splits the light information captured by the lens into the three primary colours - red, green and blue - and processes each colour with its own individual sensor. This reduces light loss compared to the 1MOS sensor. Pixel Shift Technology, which took years to develop, provides a huge number of effective pixels for moving pictures – equivalent to four times the pixel count of Full-HD. This technology renders ultrafine images with excellent colour reproduction and incredible detail.

Full-HD Progressive Recording, with 3D Shooting Capability
The HC-X900M camcorder records in Full-HD (1920 x 1080/50p) resolution and the new Crystal Engine Pro II achieves high-speed processing, producing superb Full-HD image quality, even in the most detailed images. You can also have some creative fun by mounting the new VW-CLT2 3D Conversion Lens to record 3D movies*. Even if you don’t have the conversion lens, movies that were shot in 2D can be easily transformed into 3D images with the 2D to 3D Conversion function.

A bright, Wide-Angle Leica Lens guarantees superb optical performance
The HC-X900M features a bright F1.5 29.8mm wide-angle Leica Dicomar lens, allowing for a wider-framed shot that is ideal for shooting landscapes or large groups of people. The lens also features a new Nano Surface Coating Technology, to dramatically reduce ghosting and flare.

iA (Intelligent Auto) and HYBRID O.I.S. + offer easy professional results
When iA mode is activated, it automatically selects the most suitable shooting mode at the press of a button. The HC-X900M includes Face Recognition, AF/AE Tracking, Intelligent Scene Selector, Face Detection and Intelligent Contrast Control in its iA suite, as well as the newly developed HYBRID O.I.S. + (Optical Image Stabiliser). This new system employs five-axis correction to help suppress blurring in both wide-angle shots and powerful zoom shots – allowing for steady images across the entire zoom range.

3D LCD Touch-Screen for effortless navigation and playback
The HC-X900M Full High Definition Camcorder features a 1,152,000-dot, 3.5”, 3D-compatible, wide LCD, making it possible to shoot 3D images and check 3D effects without having to use any special equipment. This fantastic screen also offers intuitive touch operation. When shooting, you can use Touch Zoom to instantly zoom in and out or Touch Shutter to automatically focus when shooting still images by simply touching the subject on the screen. For playback, you can change thumbnail pages by sliding a fingertip across the screen. You get smooth, intuitive operation without taking your eyes off of the screen.
