I would like to thank ShopRite for helping my family to achieve a 4 year plan to become a carbon neutral home. We have now managed to replace all our old energy intensive appliances with new high end energy saving appliances including: 5 star deep freeze, home entertainment system, LCD TV - at the ShopRite/Retravision VIP Night, and a new 4.5 star water efficiency dishwasher, airconditioning system, solar hot water system and window tinting.
 
We have also used a range of trades and services listed on the ShopRite website to help us get the best price available and for the installation of some appliances, all of whom have been polite and professional and what is noteworthy is that they have actually cleaned up after themselves.
 
Recently as part of our 4 year plan to achieve a carbon neutral lifestyle we utilised the services of Solargain (found in the ShopRite Savings Directory). We had contacted several other companies who had given us great offers and promises, though the quality these other companies had on offer did not in our opinion offer us the long term security of the quality we wanted.
 
What is best to note is that when we told Solargain we were ShopRite Members, they gave us a 10% discount this helped us obtain one more solar panel. Yes, one panel in the saving from our ShopRite discount will help us to achieve a little more saving on our electricity bills.
 
I have been a Union Member for over 30 years and after recently working out the savings $$$ my family and I have made by using ShopRite, I estimate we have recovered more than 20 years in Union dues.

Therefore, I encourage all members of unions who are affiliated with ShopRite to utilise the services provided by them to get the best deal possible and put the savings you make towards a new holiday or better still get a new Solargain Solar PV and save on your future electricity bills.

This is my BEST savings story; although I do have a few from using your service - which I think must be the BEST part about being a member of a union. I was searching for a Sony LCD TV and the RRP was $3,240. I rang around to a number of popular retailers and got the price down to $2,999 - which I thought was rather good. Then I rang this information through to ShopRite and the lovely lady on the phone asked if I wanted a price that day, I said YES, she put me through and I was given a price of $2,740 (AMAZING), they also told me I could get $150 CASH BACK through the Sony website. All up a saving of $409 - BRILLIANT.

“ShopRite got me a deal of a lifetime on an upright Ilve stove, splashback, rangehood, with a tepanyaki plate. Unfortunately I had a financial hiccup and couldn't purchase when the products were ready. ShopRite had got me such a good bargain that, twelve months later when I purchased my kitchen appliances those prices were totally impossible to match. I ended up spending more and getting cheaper models (of Ilve) all round and definitely not with a tepanyaki plate thrown in. ShopRite still got me a bargain but it goes to show if you get a bargain snap it up because it can't be repeated.

This meant we would either have to buy locally from the one and only retailer in town at 'country prices', make a trip to Perth to pick up the oven ourselves or arrange for it to be delivered from Perth. "Please accept this sincere "Thank you" for the assistance of ShopRite with our recent purchase of a motor vehicle. I phoned ShopRite on Thursday morning and within an hour I received a phone call from Ken Houston (Motor Vehicle Consultant). We discussed the requirements of a vehicle for my husband and myself.  Ken was extremely helpful, and very open and honest with his opinions and thoughts; for which I was very grateful.  (As a result of my conversation with him we avoided a very bad possible purchase decision.)

By 12.30 pm of the same day, we met Ken at a Car Sales Yard; as arranged by phone once he had located a vehicle which could be of interest to us.  We were very impressed with this vehicle.  It met our needs and requirements; and as an added bonus, was very smart in appearance.  We purchased the vehicle and picked it up the following day.  Overall; very quick, easy and hassle free.

We are very happy with the result of this venture and impressed with the assistance of those involved. We were treated with respect and courtesy which is a rare commodity in recent times.

Movie Tickets

“Have just read the July issue of E-News and it couldn’t have come at a more perfectly scheduled time. My staff and I had only just discussed a 'feel good day' for the site and decided that it would be a great idea to head to the Movies across the road from work to see “Mama Mia” on its release.

Just as we were pondering the outing, up popped the ShopRite July E-News with one of the headings reading 30% discount on movie tickets almost at the top of the first page.  I phoned ShopRite immediately to be advised that I could book as many tickets as I needed at the discounted price of $10.90 each.  I secured the 14 discounted movie tickets and saved the site $64.40 in total.

Thanks to ShopRite we all now get a light lunch with the money saved to top off the day.
