Why are there some products/services you don't supply?

Shop Rite provides discounts and special offers to members on a wide range of products and services. As we charge a registration fee for business to become affiliated with Shop Rite, we only pursue traders that provide products that are in demand from our members.

If there is a product or service that you would like to be available through Shop Rite, please let us know. Click here to go to our feedback form. We keep records of all of these requests and use them to recruit businesses that provide products or services that are in the most demand.

Why do I need a model number?

Shop Rite strives to provide you with friendly, efficient service. When calling for an electrical or gas price, we ask that you provide the brand, model number and the best price you have seen on the item you want. There are many reasons we require this information, but most importantly we need to ensure we are giving you a price on the correct product. As there are so many different models on the market, we require the model number to be sure your price will be correct.

Why do I need to give you my best price?

Shop Rite's Electrical and Gas Purchasing Service is a price beating service. It is in your best interest to shop around before you call us for a price, as we will be asking our suppliers to beat your price. If you have shopped around for the product, you will also have the peace of mind that you will b e buying at the best possible price.

Why can I save a lot on some products, but less on others?

As we aim to beat your best price, the savings you will enjoy by shopping with us will vary. We can't ask our suppliers to sell items for less than it cost them to buy from the manufacturer. Even though you will save more on some products than others, you can be assured that Shop Rite will provide you with the most competitive price we can in the circumstances.

Why are your electrical and gas prices only valid for 4 working days?

Prices on electrical and gas products contstantly fluctuate. As the market is extremely competitive and ever changing, our prices are valid for 4 working days to ensure we can keep up with market forces and continue to deliver competitive prices.

Sometimes when I call you with an electrical or gas enquiry you ask me to call for the price the next working day. Why?

We have access to several electrical retailers in Perth. When you call us for a quote on a product and we ask you to call us for the price the next day, it is to guarantee you will get a quote from all of our suppliers. When you call us for your price, we will pick out the best price for you.

Why can't I use the price you give me as a bargaining tool with the electrical stores in my area?

The Shop Rite service is exclusive to union and association members, we do not sell to the general public. We accept in good faith that you give us your very best price when you call us. If we beat your price, you will know that is the best possible deal you can get on the item. We ask that you do not take our prices back to other electrical retailers to help us maintain a good relationship with our suppliers, so we can continue to pass great savings on to you.
